By centralizing and outsourcing the delivery of facilities maintenance (FM) services to Emcon, our customers deploy our existing infrastructure as a “Shared Services Group” to receive work orders, to manage jobs to completion, to communicate with your appropriate personnel clearly and reliably, to receive invoices and to pay the individual contractors/technicians. As a result, you will:
  • Control overall facilities maintenance costs for your enterprise
  • Gain a single source of access to maintenance technicians for services, eliminating coverage gaps and service problems across the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands.
  • Gain consistency of services and competitive rates across your enterprise, no additional management fees
  • Re-allocate current Facility Manager(s) and technician resources to other productive uses
  • Significantly reduce administrative burdens
    • Emcon receives invoices from and pays each individual maintenance contractor/technician across the enterprise, and then submits a consolidated electronic invoice to you monthly – relieving you of this significant burden
    • Emcon provides a single overall Certificate of Insurance (COI) for all Emcon contractors/technicians – relieving you of the burden to collect Certificates of Insurance for each contractor/technician who goes into your facilities
  • Gain complete management visibility over field maintenance activities, costs, and response times, etc. via our secure reporting dashboard to monitor costs and activities for any day or date-range so you can manage your budget during the month, quarter, and/or year.
  • Avoid unnecessary maintenance costs because our trained and experienced facilities maintenance customer service specialists (average tenure is over 8 years) attempt to solve problems before dispatching a technician. (You might be surprised how often a simple reminder and explanation of how to flip a circuit breaker will solve a power problem, etc).
